My name is Manfred Rosenboom (maro). I had studied theoretical physics (QED) at the University of Bielefeld (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), but changed to computer science in business after my master degree in 1985. Since 1988 I'm a system software developer and administrator on UNIX based platforms. In the late 90s I have switched mainly to Java based programming. Currently I'm working for the Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH Layered Products Division in Munich (Bavaria, Germany) in the openSEAS development and consulting group. |

Since 1990 I'm married to Christine. We have two children: Thomas and Sabrina.
